Circuit webteam: February 2018
The Bible Month initiative offers an opportunity to immerse yourselves in a biblical book over a calendar month, and so help engage with Scripture more deeply. Focusing on a single biblical book — in sermons, small groups and youth meetings etc, means that participants gain a greater sense of the importance of context, both literary an historical. It encourages us to explore how a book develops, and to identify links between different passages, rather than just focusing on our favourite ones within a book. Bible Month, encourages everyone to engage with all of the book.
This year the Circuit will be running the Bible Month, for everyone in two weekly group sessions, where a meal is available beforehand. The locations will be 7pm at Benfleet on a Wednesday evening, and 7pm at Thorpe Bay on a Thursday evening.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in these sessions.
