The mission of Canvey Methodist Church is to celebrate the reality of God and proclaim the kingdom of God to all people.
We do this by working together:
- To meet together to worship God and to proclaim His love in Jesus Christ
- To travel together into a deeper understanding of what it means to know and follow Jesus
- To encourage and support the growth in faith of all
- To establish a place where everyone is valued and can make a contribution
- To be a visible sign of God's presence by sharing God's love in word and action within the church family, the local community, and with all visitors to our Church.
- To support and encourage witness within the wider community
- To provide a wider vision of Church, ecumenical, national and international.
