Circuit webteam: March 2018
On March 4th, Canvey held their Wives Club Anniversary. During the service a wall hanging which had been lovingly made by Rev Teresa Rutterford was dedicated in memory of a former Wives Club member, Lily Akers, who died last year. The wall hanging so beautifully depicts Lily's love of singing. Anyone who knew her, knew that Lily loved to sing to her Lord and Saviour and the inscription which reads; "Sing to the Lord with a cheerful voice," just sums her up beautifully. It was a pleasure to have Rev Teresa as well as members of Lily's family join us for the service.
