The Burrell Wellbeing Centre

The Burrell Wellbeing Centre was founded in April 2025 by the
congregation at Thundersley Methodist Church. The church wanted to honour the
memory of a former member, Kathy Burrell, by empowering lives and connecting
the community.

The aim of the centre is to help combat loneliness, promote
healthy living, and build a sense of community by offering a central, step free
accessible place for local people to gather.

While the church closed in November 2025, The Burrell Wellbeing
Centre continues and has become a mission centre of The Southend and Leigh
Methodist Circuit.
