Memory Worship for those with and without dementia
It is our vision in Memory Worship, that people with or without dementia can approach God, worship and praise & feel God's caring presence together.
Worship can be a channel for recalling the past, creating feelings of comfort, familiarity and spiritual fulfilment.
The formal part of the service lasts 30 minutes, before leading into craft and hospitality, which provide an opportunity for conversation to reinforce the theme of the service. Memory Worship is held monthly at Wesley & Rayleigh Methodist churches
3rd Monday of the month Wesley Methodist, SS9 1SJ, 2-4pm
1st Tuesday of the month Rayleigh Methodist, SS6 7JP, 2pm-4pm
